CENTERPOINT is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented cybersecurity professional to support our federal client. The candidate will support the client's cybersecurity mission to ensure proactive protection of the vital health information with which it is entrusted, respond to existing and emerging cybersecurity threats, and continue to enhance the program to ensure HHS has the capability and capacity to respond to and communicate new and emerging requirements, technologies and threats.

Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Support HHS Health Sector Cybersecurity Coordination Center (HC3) in cyber threat research, analysis, and knowledge sharing across the health sector.
  • Develop and deliver technical cybersecurity communications in a variety of formats, including web content, articles, presentations, and speaking engagements.
  • Ensure all communications, reports, initiatives, released documentation, presentation resources, and related messaging are accurately and consistently developed, reviewed, and conveyed.

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity and communications.
  • Experience and interest in cybersecurity engineering.
  • “Tinkerer” mentality in cybersecurity engineering self-education.
  • Great writing and communication skills.

Certification(s): Industry standard cybersecurity certification, e.g. Security+, preferred.


Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience (+2 years of experience).

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
